After the plane landing I went to the market, the flight was so long I got hungry. The market was filled with people and the market have so many type of food. Their was so many type of food it was hard to choose which one to get and their was some food that I never heard before. Their was a tourist guide and he shows us around the city it, was awesome. After the tourist guide show us most of the thing in the city I  wanted to see what fun things outside of the city and I want to see what type of animals are their in the mountain.

My friend pick me up at 5:00, we started  to leave the city, I wanted to see what interesting things are out their. My friend and I saw so many cool places and we saw so many anime and my friend and we stop and go get some lunch and there was  steamed sticky rice  I ask the lady what was inside of these sticky rice. After that my friend and I went back to the road trip.

 

We got to a city called Lam Dong province, we ran out of gas so we ask some of the locals where can we find a gas station was but we didn't understand a single word they said  because we don't speak Vietnamese.  A officer walk up to us and said chào buổi chieu (joe booh-ee jeeh-oo) it means good afternoon and ask us if we were lost, he was able to talk to us because he know English. He told us where we can find the gas station was and he left. We got to the gas station and go look around to see other cool things here. I wanted to see the capital of Lam Dong province the capital was called Da Lat it was a beautiful city and have lots of cool places.

I heard of a waterfall that's called Pongour waterfall when I was looking up for a cool place to go. I found out that it is located in Lam Dong, this was great that there is a waterfall here. When we got there, it has lots of tourist around. After visiting the waterfall we started to find a fun thing to do for are last day at Vietnam. I found out about a festival called tet it was the Vietnamese new year festival.

I got to the city called Nha Trang it was an amazing city, it near the coast of Vietnam. It looks like a lot of people are getting ready for the new year festival that is also known as one of the most annual event. 2:00, it was the festival, I got ready to look around the city, the first thing I saw was people holding a dragon and did a dragon dance. The next thing I saw was the lion dance it was a new thing that I never seen in america. Their was so many people dressing up for the festival and there was even kids are dressing up. 

Vietnam has 58 provinces, and there are 5 centrally controlled municipalities. They exist at the same level as provinces.  They are Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho, Da Nang and Hai Phong. There are 51 cities in Vietnam, and the climate of Vietnam is both a tropical and a temperate zone. 

The language that Vietnam people speak is Vietnamese. The Vietnamese language belongs to the Mon-Khmer branch of the Austroasiatic family of languages.   This is with other tongues, such as Khmer, the official language of Cambodia. 

Vietnam religion includes folk religion, which is structured by Confucianism and Taoism from China. They also have a strong tradition to Buddhism.  Buddhism originated in India, then spread to Asia. Confucianism is characterized as a system of social and ethical philosophy rather than a religion. Taoism is a Chinese philosophy based on the writings of Lao Tzu.  Buddhism may have first come to Vietnam as early as the 3rd or 2nd century BCE from South Asia, or from China in the 1st or 2nd century CE.

Each outfit shows how much they value comfort in dressing.  The traditional Vietnamese outfit in the city is a little different. For the men, it is simple brown shirts and white pants, with a headdress.  The headdress is just a cloth draped around the head. For the formal occasions, they just add to their daily clothes with  a turban and a long robe with cuts on both sides.
