I visited the west coast with a trip to Oregon and then Los Angeles. I heard a lot of live music, including a trip to Camp Bisco on Montage Mountain near Scranton PA, and saw the best show of my life, Tame Impala, at the Anthem in DC. I got to spend a week at Bethany Beach with my family, and made visits to friends around Virginia and the DMV -- DC Maryland Virginia area... But in addition to a lot of fun, I was fortunate enough to participate in a great online professional development on the teaching of the tough topic of slavery. It opened my eyes to some new ways of thinking and a bevy of places to look for resources.
