I don't think the validity of scores is that good, because they are not looking at explanations. It's usually a multiple choice test with only one correct answer.
2. They could be reliable, if they take into account student explanations and reasonings. This would help you to know where they are.

Validity is supposed to be a key in the metric that our education processes (teaching methods) are measured by.   the apprehension of testing is becoming vocalized at a larger rate.

When I was in practicum in a middle school the math PLC would get together and try to make sure they were grading similarly. i think emergent bilingual learners gets stressed out about assessments. it’s a lot of pressure on them.
