The day celebrates the ratification of the Convention of the Rights of the Child, highlights the amazing things kids around the world are doing, and encourages everyone to stand up for children's rights. 

On November 20th, 2017, three of our NYC Junior Ambassador Alumni--Askadeline, Samirah, and Fatoumata--helped #KidsTakeOver the UN for World Children's Day. Accompanied by courageous children from around the world and celebrity guests Jaden Michael, Isabela Moner, Chloe x Halle, and Zari (from Afghanistan's Sesame Street), our NYCJA Alums: sang, danced, advocated for children's rights, and expressed their wishes for every child to Secretary-General Antonio Guterrez and other world leaders.
