St. Michael Vanquishing Satan is a painting by the Italian High Renaissance artist Raphael. The image consists of the archangel Michael standing on top of Satan's back with his right foot, while holding a spear in his hands.

I decided to do this painting because I feel that it is a very interesting piece of art because of the way the artist thought of this and he drew Michael and Satan with this dark mood to it on the bottom but this nicer almost a relieving side like how the torments have ended with the hero st. micheal.

The School of Athens is a fresco(a technique of art) by the Italian Renaissance artist Raphael. It was painted between 1509 and 1511 as a part of Raphael's commission to decorate the rooms now known as the Stanze di Raffaello, in the Apostolic Palace in the Vatican.
The School of Athens represents all the greatest mathematicians, philosophers and scientists from classical antiquity gathered together sharing their ideas and learning from each other. These figures all lived at different times, but here they are gathered together under one roof.
I choose it because I think is interesting what was the purpose of the paint and also I Love the colorful paints
