The bombs should not have been dropped on japan because while it may have saved us time resources and American lives;the losses japan suffered were far worse. Japanese civilians suffered from radiation poisoning and painful illnesses and traumas, and reconstruction of the cities went slowly and there were food shortages which led to the evacuation of 50,000 people. Also,in 1939 the League of Nations made a declaration against the bombing of civilian populations and was the first declaration to deal with weapons of mass destruction, meaning that the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki were illegal on an international level.

At the time of the war we were in a back and forth battle with the axis powers. If we didn't drop the bomb the axis powers could have won the war. The war allowed for the start of the women rights movement. The women rights movement created higher expectations for women by the early twentieth century. Women were able to attend college and to train for professions. Also the war got us out of the Great Depression because the government used wartime demand to transform what America made. The war also provided help to lead the civil rights movement. The civil rights movement was a popular movement to secure African Americans equal access to and opportunities for the basic privileges and rights of U.S. citizenship.

Despite it being the most costly war, afterwards, the United Nations was established which is still active today. In addition, new laws were made in order to protect human rights. These rights are a vital part of today's society and give all people basic rights that are much needed. Finally, during the war, women had to fill the postitions of the men who went into the war. This showed that these women had a great presence in the work force, and made an exrreme effort during the war. Overall, the war was very tragic and costly, but it was worth the costs of getting involved.

No the cost of the US joining the war in Europe was not worth it. There was much poverty and wages were too low for it to have been a good idea to join. The US also spent around $98 million dollars joining the war. Finally, we were getting involved in something that was not on our own continent but over seas, which would be costly. Therefor it was a bad idea to join the war in Europe.

It was worth it to join the war in Europe because there were many more positives to joining the war than if we had just stayed out of it. For example, by us joining the war we put a stop the the Nazi empire and ended Hitler's dictatorship in Europe. Also we gained access and knowledge to new and improved nuclear technology. The involvement of the U.S. in the war also helped lead the Women's rights movement, which had many contributions to the war. The benefits of joining the war far outweigh the negatives.

I believe that the US made the correct decision by dropping the bombs on Japan. Since Japan bombed Pearl Harbor the US had to make a statement. By nuking Japan the US ended the conflict between the two countries at the earliest possible time. The US saved American lives by ending the war quickly and by bombing Japan we avoided invading Japan on ground. Bombing Japan was by far the better decision.

At the time joining the war was the best choice to do. The country strengthened as a whole. Joining the war was improved women's rights dramatically because they had to take the factory jobs for the men while they were off fighting in the war. A great propaganda example for this is Rosie the Riveter that showed that women all across the country should stand up and be strong. Also it gained technology advancements in nuclear technology which would later help us in the cold war. One last benefit to joining the war was that it stopped Hitler's reign of terror in europe.

I think it was a wise decision to join the war in Europe for many reasons. First, at this point in America's history we were dealing with an economic struggle, by joining the war we created jobs for not only men but women as well. These job ranged anywhere from small factory work to building war weapons. Second, by women taking these jobs it jump-started the women's rights movement. An example of this was propaganda posters featuring Rosie the Riveter convincing people that even woman can hell our country win the war . And third, the need for weapons that where powerful and can be made in a timely manner led to the advancement in technology around the world including USA, this need for advanced technology led to more factories causing more jobs for people resulting and economic boost.

Yes, I think we should have bombed Hiroshima And Nagasaki for many logical reasons. One, if we had not bombed Japan we would have had to invade. This would be difficult because Japan is an island and at this point in the war Japan controlled many islands outside of their main land. This means that transporting of troops and weapons would be very expensive for America. Secondly, the building of nuclear bomb was a result of us advancing technology and also leading to more advances in the future. Third, the bombing of Japan ened the conflict between the countries all at once saving each country money and time.

Also if we didn't bomb them it would have made us look very weak, as if we couldn't defend ourselves.

It was worth the cost for the United States to join the war in Europe. The reason why is because before the war women were forced to stay at home with the kids and raise them to be great people. When the United States joined the war in Europe the women were called on to leave their homes so they could put the food on the table. The women were called to do the jobs their husbands did, the women took the call as a gift. Women finally felt like they meant something to the people fighting in the war, to the families that were worrying about their fathers, brothers, uncles, and grandparents some of them. Some women who didn't have a husband enlisted into the military ranks as nurses. The women finally got out of the house as strong independent women who proved to people that women can make a difference. Another reason why it was worth the cost for the United States to join the war because it help the United States gain global power. The United States gained global power because we actually helped with rebuilding the European countries that were destroyed by the war. A reason the United States joined the war was because the European countries we were aliened with would need help and we couldn't just sit back and watch the war happen without even helping. After the war the United States helped rebuild Europe and trading relations got stronger. The last reason that it was worth the cost of the United States to join the war in Europe was so that our alliances weren't mad at us. The United States helped Europe in the war to prevent future events of conflict. The United States joined the war so that we as a country would not risk invasion from another country. The United States helped in the war in Europe so that the alliance between us and the European countries would not be tangled and based on anger. Yes it was worth the cost for the United States to join the war in Europe.
