This story starts off with the main action Wyatt the main character falls off the boat. Then, we see a flashback to earlier in the day when the guide, Brody, is going over the safety rules. During these instructions, Wyatt and his brother are talking about how cool it would be cool if they did fall off. Wyatt’s brother Johnny whispers to him,”wouldn’t it be awesome to fall in?” (Robie 2). Then, their dad tells them to pay atteion and the pay atteion the rest of the talk. Then, they go whitewater rafting. During the trip, they save another raft, causing them to go into heavy rapids. Wyatt falls off but remembers the safety instructions and is able to swim to the other boat.

I rate this book 4 out of 10. This book deserves a 4 because it was not really a bookand kind of lacks details. First it doesn’t really say who Wyatt was and that he only has a brother and the rest of his family. Second, it only says the part where he fell off and had to swim to shore. Last, the only part were also the flashbacks which did not help the story that much.

Chase was a football superstar and troublemaker at his high school. He liked to cause trouble and play football with his friends Aaron and bear. One day Chase was on the roof where his mom and dad had told him not to go. Chase slipped on a loose shingle and he fell off the roof causing him to lose his memory and get a restart. Chase woke up in the hospital bed not knowing what happened or where he was he does not even remember his mom who is sitting right next to him. Dr.Cooperman and his mom tell him about who he was but they did not tell him he was a trouble maker. The doctor says he can’t play football for a whole year. When Chase gets to his dads house he remeets his new step mom Corrine and his step sister who is 4 years old. When Chase goes up to her she starts to cry this was his first indication he was a bad person before. Chase goes back to school and has to meet with the principal. The principal thinks of him losing his memory as a chance to build from the ground up. At lunch Chase sits down with Brendan Espinoza one of the kids he was a bully to the football kids immediately start to antagonize Brendan forcing Chase to sit with them. When Chase tries to help anybody or walks by anybody they get super scared and walk away which makes him feel bad. One day Chase finds out that him Aaron and Bear were forced to due community service at a old folks home since they got in trouble. At school he joins the video club which has Shoshanna Webber in it a girl who’s brother was bullied so bad by Chase he moved schools. At the old folks home they find a world war 2 veteran who was in the war and lost his medal over the years. The whole video club makes a documentary about it and shares it during a school assembly.

Rebecca, Bick, Tommy, and Storm are the kids of kids family. Their parents are famous treasure hunter, and their mom and dad is lost somewhere for the year. Their mom had been kidnapped, and his dad was gone to the sea when there was a big storm. They are with uncle Timothy, who was their dad's friend and were CIA agent as their parent. She gives them the clock that their mom told her to give it to them and when the other treasure hunters break into their room; she runs off with a jet pack.

They start to go to find a Solomon mine. They meet with an agent from CIA, and he gives them an SUV that their dad ordered to make it few years ago. Then they goes to Solomon mines, and they almost gets eat by python and sucked up by mosquitoes and when they almost reach there, they meet with an another treasure hunter. He was alone and told them that his crew ran away or dead. He tells them to give him a map, and they just give away the map.

Ghost is about a young boy who has gone thru a lot in his life and wants to live better. When ghost was just a young boy he and his mother had to leave his father after a drunk rage when he started shooting at them. A couple years later ghost is in middle and a constant trouble maker. He gets bullied and pushed around by a kid named Brandon who constantly makes fun of the place he lives and how his mom works as a school cafeteria worker. One day coming home from school castle was walking thru the park when he saw a track and kids running on it. He stopped and watched a little bit of the kids running he noticed one kid who was really fast who’s name is Lu he lines up next to Lu but on the outside the fence the coach comes over and tells him that it’s a private practice and he has to leave the track. Castle persuades him to give him a chance and soon they are racing Lu starts talking smack and the n the coach blows the whistle they race neck and neck the whole time and were so close they couldn’t tell who won the race. Soon after the coach wants Castle to join the running team as long as he does well in school Castles mom says that if he messes up once he’s off the team. Then one day Castle lost at school Brandon Simmons was being a bully and Castle lost it he jumped over the table and beat up Brandon he got a one day suspension and had to have the coach pick him up from school they went to the track and trained on running and sprinting at the end of the day the coach said he would give him one last chance and wouldn’t tell his mom if he got his act together in school. To help run faster Castle cuts the tops off his high tops which makes him get laughed in school so he goes and steals a pair of nice silver running shoes. When it came time to get the uniforms for running Castle did not get one and this was because of the stealing incident that the store posted on the internet. When coach asked Castle about it he said “You don’t know the type of life I live” the coach talked about that he does know and he talked about how his dad sold his gold medal and bought drugs that he overdosed on. Coach understood and gave him his uniform.
Quote: “I had come a long way but one thing was for sure I needed to get my act together” pg. 113

Ben Ripley was your average twelve-year-old. He went to a public middle school, hung out with his friends, and played sports. Until, that is, he met Alexander Hale, vice president of a CIA spy school, where wannabe spies learn the skills they need in the field. Ben is told that he has been admitted because of his “Level 16” math skills, but in truth, the CIA is using him as bait. The CIA hopes that Ben will lure members of an evil organization to them once the bad guys learn of Ben’s code breaking project! Ben, on the other hand, is clueless of this plan but soon somebody tries to take him and torture him to give them answers and make him teach them code breaking skills. Time passes by and the agents learn new training for real world events like a bomb and how to disarm a bomb or take down a enemy. One day during a paintball match Ben was exploring and found a bomb in the tunnels under the building all the young agents and hunted down the person who set the bomb and took down the other agency and then the book ends.
Quote:"I went from the average kid too a junior CIA agent” page 246

Abraham Lincoln was a good hardworking president that wanted freedom of all races. Abraham Lincoln was born and raised in Hogdenville, Kentucky in a small log cabin with a poor family. He would often work on the farm for many hours because they had no school where they lived and they could not afford it. When Abraham was nine years old his mother died of a disease called milk sickness a rare disease got from those who drink milk since they had no money they could not cure it. After his mother died they moved to another farm in Indiana. They lived there for a while then they moved to Illinois. When Lincoln got to Illinois he decided he didn’t want to be a farmer and instead started splitting rails and clearing his father's farm. Then he enlisted in the Black Hawk War (a fight to move the Indians westward). He was elected to move his group of people in the war. Later he admitted that he got the most satisfaction out of that one than any other election he ever one. After that Lincoln worked on a riverboat, ran a store, and thought about becoming a blacksmith. Instead, he decided to study law and started his own successful law practice. He also served in both the Illinois and U.S. legislatures. Although Lincoln was not the most successful lawyer and lost many cases he still decided to keep doing it. Later he was passed over as the Republican Party's vice presidential nominee, and when he ran for the U.S. Senate against Stephen Douglas, he lost. But he didn't let these defeats stop him. In 1860, Lincoln ran for president and won. After winning he did many successful things as president like abolishing slavery by winning the Civil War. Abraham Lincoln was very brave. I know this because he was a group military leader in the war. Also I know that Abraham Lincoln was not racist. I know this because he started a war to end slavery. Lastly I know Abraham Lincoln was determined. I know because he would do almost what ever it takes to win the war.

One night at fords theater John Wilkes Booth did almost the impossible he snuck into the presidents viewing area and shot him in the back of the head a mass.

Bud Calloway is an adventurous, ten-year-old orphan who wants nothing more than to find his father, Mr. Herman E. Calloway. Throughout the story, Bud shows his determination and bravery as he faces many hard times on his journey to find his father. Bud is treated unfairly at his foster home with Amoses and then runs away to find his family. On the way he takes many stops while going to Grand Rapids. He takes with him a suitcase that carries memories of his mother who passed away while she was sick when he was only 6 years old . Bud strongly believes the items inside the suitcase will one day lead him to his father who is the musician Hermon E Calloway. I know Buddy is determined because he ran away from his foster home and was going to walk from Flint to Grand Rapids. I also know that Buddy is tough because not at one point did he ever give up on his plan and go back to the foster home. Lastly I know Buddy is tough because with all the abuse and stuff at the Amoses’s house he stayed strong mentally.
