"Hunger" is a title fit to impress as it emphasis the struggle of the children forced to be adults as the world they once knew changes forever. The day everyone over the age of 15 disappeared set in motion a chain of events that left the children in the F.A.Y.Z hungry not only for food, but hungry for love, family, hope, safety, and most of all freedom. Following the events of the first book, Sam is now the struggling leader of the F. A. Y.
