I want to help students reach their goals and dreams and that drives me to be the best teacher I can be. I hope my students learn to question life and be critical thinkers in my classroom. I hope they all feel good being there and feel the environment is safe, inviting, and a place where we can all learn and grow together. I like the idea of being a facilitator-style teacher because I think it is important for my students to know how the process of learning works.

Taking the LS 350 course has been very helpful in understanding how technology affects education and how to correctly use it. First Achievement :

This assignment was a group presentation where we educated our peers about Web design and what copyright is. The challenge that I overcame during this assignment was feeling a little more comfortable with public speaking. Overall it was a great assignment because I learned about designing a website and the do's and don'ts of creating a successful one.

Second Achievement:

This was an assignment that I really enjoyed doing. I was very surprised to learn there are so many differernt teaching stradegies and they were all so interesting to learn about. One challenge that I had here was deciding what strategy I would use with my students. I decided on the big ideas, real world thinking strategy because I think it is a great way for students to learn.

This assignment was fun for me and I got to learn about building a culture of digital citizenship for my future classroom. I learned about ways to teach my students to be responsible digital citizens so they know how to use the internet the right way.
