Firstly, you need to learn more about the audience to whom you'll be speaking. In the introduction part, it is important to grasp the audience's attention. By understanding and grasp the audience, you can deliver a presentation that speaks to them. Next, you need to select a topic that the audience interest. It will be good for your presentation because the audience can finds revelant and more enjoyable to research a topic. During the presentation, you should keep eye contact with your audience. Eye contact is most important in way people perceive one another. Try your best to grasp the audience look at you when you talking. In conclusion, pratice until you can speak fluently without looking at the outline.

- How many kinds of couplings do you know?
- What are they used for?
- What are their components?
- What are their main features?
- What are their applications?
________________________________
Couplings are devices used to connect two shafts together. The input shaft connects to the power source and the output shaft transfers power to its destination in order to perform useful work. They are divided into two types: rigid couplings and flexible couplings. Rigid couplings align the shafts with each other. They also maximize performance and efficiency. The most common rigid couplings are sleeve-style couplings. But sometimes the shafts do not meet perfectly so we can use flexible couplings. They are usually used to transmit torque from one shaft to another when the two shafts are misaligned. A flexible coupling can help reduce noise and unwanted vibrations. A beam coupling is a common flexible couplings that is made by cutting a spiral shape from one piece of material. It's can accommodate several degrees of shaft offset.

Bearings are divided into two types: rolling contact bearings and journal bearings. Rolling contact bearings have an inner race and an outer race. A rolling contact bearings is also called an anti-friction bearing due to its low friction characteristic. There are 4 main types of rolling contact bearings. A ball bearing uses spherical rollers to reduce friction and support loads. A straight roller bearing has low-friction and high speed capability. Tapered roller bearing can support both large radial and thrust loads. Thrust roller bearing use barrel-shaped rollers to support thrust motion. A journal bearing has no rolling parts and the shaft rotates inside a lubricated sleeve instead.

What are they?
- What are their features?
- What are their applications?
________________________________
A gear is a machine part with teeth. Gears are used to transfer motion and torque between machine components in mechanical devices. Besides, they can change the speed, and direction of a power source. Most of gears work in rotatinal motion. There are 3 common types of gears in accordance with the orientation of their axes. Spur gears are the simplest and the most common typer of gears. The edge of each tooth is straight and aligned parallel to the axis of rotation. They are used in low-speed applications and in situations where noise control is not a problem. Helical gears mesh more smoothly than spur gears because their teeth are cut in a spiral shape that helping them run more smoothly and quietly. Helical gears often used in high-speed applications, large power transmission, or where some noise control is important. Bevel gears are most often mounted on shafts that are 90 degrees. They have a conical form and can be used to transmit rotational power through shafts at an angle.

There are 2 types of drives: belt drive & chain drive. Belt drive is a system that uses a moving continuous belt to transmit motion and power from one shaft to another by means of friction between belt and pulleys. On the contrary, chain drive is used to transmit motion and power between successive chain with sprocket special toothed wheels. Belt drive is often made of rubber, plastics or other substances, but chain drive is most often made of metal. Belt drive reduce noise and vibration. Unlike belt drive, chain drive cause noise and vibration. Slippage occurs in belt drive while it doesn't in chain drive. Efficiency of belt drive is comparatively low because of frictional lose while the efficiency of chain drive is high (usually above 95%). Belt drive requires minimum maintenance frequent re-tension. Chain drive is different from belt drive because it requires regular maintenance, including frequent lubrication. Applications of belt drive are flour mills, coolant pump, AC, CAM shaft, lathe machines and lots of other machines. Chain drive is used in bicycle, motorcycles and material handling equipment.

Manual drafting or hand drafting is the practice of creating drawings by hand with pencil or ink on a media such as paper or polyester film using drafting equipment. CAD can quickly layout a preliminary design and necessary change while hand drafting just single detailed drafting by hand. CAD requires operation skills in minimum and analytical skills. Unlike CAD, hand drafting requires designing and explanation skills. CAD have high accuracy in reprentation and less error in explantation while hand drafting is easy misreading because of ambiguity and drawing error. CAD is very easy using and flexible so designer can make change or modifications easily. Manual drafting is different from CAD, it consumes much time so sometimes drafter has to start from the beginning to make changes.

The properties of plastic are: versatile, safe, lightweight and durable. In the past, we couldn't mould plastic into complex shapes. Manufacturers could produce modern synthetic plastics. Nowadays, manufacturers can mould plastics into a variety of complex shapes. At present, it is possible to replace components in engines with plastics. Plastics can be used in manufacturing to help designers reduce weight in aircraft. In the future, it will save money and increase efficiency by using smart plastic coatings on manufacturing components. Soon, it will be possible to use eco-friendly bioplastics in a wide range of applications in electronics, telecommunications, aerospace, automotive and other fields. In the near futures, we will be able to make plastics from any kind of plant materials. There are a lot of advantages of plastic so they are used so widely today. Plastic are convenient, cheap and durable. Products are made from plastic can be used multiple times.

You should mention the seven types of plastic and their codes, a common type of plastic with its properties and its applications.
________________________________
As far as I know, plastic is a synthetic materials. There are 7 types of plastic. Plastic that belongs to group number one is made out of polyethylene terephthalate (PET). It is mostly used for food and drink packaging purposes due to its oxygen prevention. High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) is an incredible resistant resin used for not only grocery bags, milk jugs, recycling bins, agricultural pipe, but also playground equipment, lids, and shampoo bottles. It is relatively hard and resistant to impact and can be subjected to temperatures. Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is the world's third most widely produced synthetic plastic polymer. Thanks to its versatile properties, such as lightness, durability, and easiness of process ability, PVC is now replacing traditional building materials like wood, metal, concrete, rubber, ceramics, etc. in various applications. Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) is a flexible, odorless, transparent, recyclable thermoplastic polymer. It used in plastic bags, six-pack rings, various containers, and dispensing bottle. Polypropylene (PP) is the second most widely produced commodity plastic. Being hard and sturdy, PP can withstand high temperatures and is found in car parts thermal vests, yogurt containers and even disposable diapers. Polystyrene (PS) is a very inexpensive resin per unit weight and easy to create. It can be found everywhere from beverage cups, insulation, packing materials to egg cartons and disposable dinnerware. If plastic cannot be identified in the six types above mentioned, then it will be included in group number 7. The best known plastic this group is polycarbonates (PC) used to build strong, tough products, used for eye protection in the creation of lenses for sunglasses, sport and safety goggles.

What are they?
- Describe each step.
________________________________
As you can see in the figure, this is the process of plastic moulding. There are 6 steps in this process. First, we move the polymer pellets from the hopper to the cylinder. Then, an electric motor turns the screw in the extrusion moulder. In the next step, the cord polymer pellets move along the cylinder. After that, heaters warm the polymer pellets moves along the cylinder. And finally, the machine pushes the molten polymer out into the mould.

In plastic injection moulding process, sometimes we encounter serious problems that we don't know how to solve it. So, today I will explain some causes and solutions to these problems. The first cause is short shot, it can be of two reasons: not enough plastic in shot and the plastic pressure loss in the mould is to high. To solve this problem, we should check the shot continuously and use plastic with high melting capability, increase fill speed, plastic and mould temperature and increase gate size and runner. And the second common problem is void. It is cause by plastic shrinkage or plastic volume changes when plastic is heated or cooled. For this problem, we need reduce wall thickness, slow down cooling rate, increase gate size and locate it at the thick part of the moulding. The last problem sometime we encounter is sink mark. From my viewpoint, the internal stress is too high and the part has too low a surface rigidity that leads to the plastic shrinkage occurs on the outside of the part. The solutions of this problem is increase holding pressure and holding time, reduce moulding temperature and reduce wall thickness for faster cooling.
