It seemed like it was the most natural next step because you need a Master's degree to work in science now and you definitely need an MSc if you want to work towards a PhD. I still don’t really know what I want to do in the future so an MRes seemed like a good next step.  
I wish I had known how hard it would be to be in the lab all the time.

Small companies might limit my freedom to develop my own ideas but a very large company may lead me to be further away from the people I would like to be helping. However, working in a small team within a large company might provide the best of both scenarios.  ]]> 2019-06-03 14:23:22 UTC https://padlet.com/aasc1_1/s06yfr7pgnf8/wish/365311348 Reflection Point 3 - Prospects.ac.uk aasc1_1 https://padlet.com/aasc1_1/s06yfr7pgnf8/wish/365311349 The prospects site provided job suggestions which I am not technically qualified for but the suggestions around teaching and development could be worth considering as an outlet for my creative side – which up until now I had thought would be channeled into a more 'typical' communication role such as science publishing.  
The second quiz aligned more with where I was considering going but again much of the suggestions were focused around creativity so I am now more sure I should be pursuing careers in that direction, but possibly with a wider remit.
