Sports Day is believed to be one of the most exciting days of the year, with every student counting down the days to this wonderful day. On that Monday, our school organized a delightful trip to the village grove. Not only did we have an exciting time, but I also believe that every student enjoyed themselves immensely. The majority played football, while others chose volleyball, strolling through the woods or simply relaxing on the grass of the pitch. Without a doubt, that Sports Day will remain unforgettable.

First of all he talked about following our parents advice on getting to and returning from school.Secondly he told us about school regulations in and out of our classrooms.I mostly liked the fact that the presentation was interactive.There were slides and videos.Students also had the opportunity to ask questions.

Finally ,I would like to thank the police force for their concern and our teachers for organising that event.

Der 28. Oktober ist einer der wichtigsten Nationalfeiertage in Griechenland und steht für den Widerstand gegen den Faschismus, für Mut und Freiheit. Unsere Schule würdigte diesen Nationalfeiertag bereits am Vortag mit einer Schulfeier. Nach wochenlangen Vorbereitungen trugen Schüler Gedichte und historische Texte vor, untermalt von traditionellen Liedern, Videos und Bildern aus der Zeit um 1940. Ein Höhepunkt war die Übergabe der griechischen Flagge an den besten Schüler bzw. die beste Schülerin als Anerkennung für Fleiß und Zusammenarbeit. Am eigentlichen Feiertag nahmen wir voller Stolz an der großen Schülerparade zu festlichen Klängen teil. Das Fest hat uns wieder daran erinnert, dass Freiheit und Frieden keine Selbstverständlichkeit sind und wir diese Werte jeden Tag beschützen müssen.
