Another lovely week for Teddy, and once again, he is absolutely loving being in school! 💙

Teddy’s school badge has arrived, so if you’re ever in the office, be sure to have a look at his school picture up on the board with the rest of the staff - he looks very pleased with himself! 🥰

This week Teddy experienced his first school walk, which was very exciting. He also managed two trips to Church with the children on Thursday - what a busy day!

And to top it all off, Teddy even got to plant his very own bulb. 🌱 We’ll have to wait and see what grows!

It’s wonderful to see Teddy enjoying all these new experiences and becoming such a special part of school life. 🐾❤️

Although many of us have been feeling a little tired this week, the resilience, determination and perseverance shown by our children has been amazing. They have continued to come into school each day ready to learn, try their best and make the most of every opportunity. This is particularly impressive as the darker mornings and evenings begin to roll in and we all start to feel that need for a little extra rest!

Thank you to our wonderful children for all their hard work, positivity and commitment throughout this first half term. You should all be incredibly proud of yourselves.

Now it is time to enjoy a well-deserved break. I hope you have a wonderful half term, spending time with your families, making memories and, of course, getting plenty of rest and relaxation.

Have a fantastic half term, everyone. I look forward to welcoming you all back to school on 2nd November, ready for another exciting half term together.

It was a particularly special experience as Mrs Molyneux said a short prayer, reminding us of Remembrance Sunday, which is coming up shortly, and the importance of taking time to remember and reflect.

Everyone enjoyed getting stuck in and planting their bulbs, and we look forward to seeing them begin to grow and brighten the church gardens when spring arrives. It will be wonderful to look back and see the little bulbs we planted together coming into flower.

We were also joined by a very special little helper! Teddy made his first walk up to church and even assisted with planting his very own bulb — muddy paws included! 🐾

It was a lovely morning of community, remembrance and looking forward to new life in the spring.

 ^{Leigh’s Got Talent is a Britain's Got Talent-style show taking place on Sunday 24th January 2027 at Leigh Library. The competition is open to children, adults and groups of all ages, and we are currently looking for talented performers to take part.}
