She had spent much of her life being underestimated by the very wolves she now helped lead, making her achievement all the more meaningful. She had earned her place through her own merits, proving that she was far more capable than anyone who had once dismissed her could have imagined.

Now, Kuanjui holds her position as second-in-command of Night Shadows with confidence. She remains the same playful, mischievous, and shamelessly flirtatious wolf she has always been, seeing no reason to abandon the parts of herself that make her who she is. She enjoys teasing others, exchanging cheeky remarks, and charming anyone who catches her attention. Yet beneath her carefree exterior lies a sharp mind and a wolf who takes her responsibilities seriously. She knows when to put the jokes aside, when to take charge, and when her pack needs her to be dependable rather than entertaining.

Her beauty has never been something she resents, nor does she feel obligated to hide it to be taken seriously. What frustrates her is the assumption that it must be her only worthwhile quality. She has spent much of her life proving that a pretty face does not make a wolf fragile, harmless, or incapable. These days, she no longer feels the need to convince everyone of her abilities. She knows what she brings to Night Shadows, and those who still underestimate her are welcome to make that mistake.

After all, Kuanjui has learned that being underestimated can be an advantage. Sometimes, the wolf everyone overlooks is the very one they should have been watching.
