Deep dive into the practical use of generative AI. Whether you are a student, faculty member, or staff, each session offers practical skills, guidance, and communal support as well as a forum for discussion about this emerging technology. Sessions will typically be on Tuesdays at 1PM but we will be adding events as schedules demand and as new topics emerge.

Broadly, we're focusing on four topic areas within the AI space at UAF:

Gemini Track (Core AI & Google Workspace tools)
Student Track (Ethical study tools & career readiness)
Faculty Track (Course design & Noodle Factory assistance)
AI Leadership Brownbag (Campus policy & AI discussions)

I want to give a shout-out to Sarah Garcia for her support and guidance over the years. Whether she’s making time to brainstorm new ideas, reviewing my spreadsheets to find that one error, or sharing new guidance that just came out, she has been invaluable. Through the years, she has gently pushed me past my comfort zone and encouraged me to share my knowledge. Her willingness to help and challenge me has made a positive impact, and I am so grateful to have her in my corner.
