These are SEC completion dates for the relevant 2026/27 components. Students must also follow internal school milestones communicated by their subject teacher. Dates will be reviewed against the latest SEC schedule.

SEC completion date: 26 February 2027

Students complete an investigation in accordance with the Biology specification and SEC requirements. Attendance, authentic work and meeting all teacher-directed milestones are essential.

SEC completion date: 12 March 2027

Students undertake an investigative study in accordance with the Business specification and SEC requirements. Work must be authentic and completed within the required arrangements.

SEC completion date: 23 April 2027

Students complete a Chemistry investigation in accordance with the subject specification and SEC requirements. Students should retain the required evidence and meet each school milestone.

SEC completion date: 11 December 2026

Students complete a Physics investigation in accordance with the subject specification and SEC requirements. This is the earliest of the current Sixth Year AAC completion dates.

AAC: Exploring the Constructed Environment.

The school will publish confirmed completion arrangements and dates when issued. Students should follow all instructions from their subject teacher and the SEC.

AAC: Design and Manufacture Project.

Confirmed assessment arrangements, internal milestones and SEC dates will be communicated when available.

AAC: Applied Geographical Investigation.

Students will receive the current specification, assessment guidance and school milestones through their Geography teacher.

AAC: Physical Education Project.

Assessment arrangements and dates will be added after confirmation against the current SEC guidance.

Confirmed assessment arrangements, subject guidance and dates will be communicated when officially available.

• Complete work within the required timeframe.

• Submit their own authentic work.

• Follow referencing, research and AI-use requirements.

• Retain drafts, notes and evidence where required.

• Meet school milestones and SEC deadlines.

• Ask the subject teacher promptly if difficulties arise.

A breach of authentication or examination regulations may affect the assessment outcome.

• Encourage regular attendance and steady progress.

• Support good organisation without completing or editing the work.

• Ensure students understand authentication, referencing and AI rules.

• Contact the school early if illness or another serious difficulty may affect completion.

The relevant subject teacher remains the first point of contact regarding an individual subject.
