Boston Flourish reminds me that service is a way of life and that there’s power in an individual that is willing to do something for God’s people and social impact that shines Christ light wherever they are.

Boston Flourish has enabled small ministries to make connections and share resources in ways that meet the needs of our neighbors in tangible and holistic ways.

At Boston Flourish 2024, I met a woman who was planning an event and needed translation services to make sure that the immigrants who were attending the event would be able to fully participate by having headsets. Because she reached out to me, I was able to connect with someone who works in the office of equity and inclusion for the mayors office who told me exactly how to go about getting those headsets completely free to support the immigrants at this event. That was amazing.

For me, the opportunity to participate in an event that is typically outside of my normal schedule provides several benefits. First, I meet people I likely would not have crossed paths with. Second, I am reminded of how deep and wide the Kingdom of love moves. Third, I am encouraged to see the pioneers who continue to push the boundaries of what can be done in the Kingdom.
