This week Teddy has...

Teddy has had such a busy week and he is becoming so much more confident at school! Many of the children will have now spotted him wandering around on the floor rather than being held by Mrs Battersby, as he’s starting to figure out where everything is - including the office, the quad for playtime and all the important places in between! 🐶💕

The children keep asking about him and are absolutely dying to know when they’ll be able to give him a stroke and a cuddle… and the wait is nearly over! 🎉

Teddy had his vaccinations on Thursday, so after half term the children will be able to give him some very special strokes and cuddles! 🥰🐾

We’re still working out exactly how best to manage this, as we don’t want to overwhelm him with too much excitement all at once. But Teddy is definitely looking forward to all the love and special attention he’s going to get! ❤️🐶

It’s lovely to see him becoming more settled, confident and curious around school - he really is making himself at home! 🐾✨

Our Year 3 children have had a fantastic trip to the museum, putting their learning into action and making some wonderful memories along the way. Our Year 1 and Year 2 children were also very lucky to welcome Nomad Rangers into school, providing them with a fantastic opportunity to learn, explore and experience something a little different.

We were also incredibly proud of our Head Boy and Head Girl, who represented our school at the Healthy Schools Celebration. They were fantastic ambassadors for our school and thoroughly enjoyed celebrating all the wonderful work that schools are doing to promote healthy and happy children.

I also want to say a huge WELL DONE to all of our children and families for our fantastic attendance this week! It has been amazing to see so many children in school every day, ready to learn, have fun and make the most of every opportunity.

And we’re not finished yet! We have our extra attendance challenge running, which you can see in the post below. Every day really does count and it would be incredible to see us finish the half term on a real high!

Let’s give it everything we’ve got and finish this half term off AMAZING! 🌟
