I am in strong support of the American system not only because I created it, but also because it is vital for our economy, unification of the country, and national prosperity.

My system is the best system ever created, and everyone should be happy to follow it.

I support the American System because it will help our country grow with better roads, banks, and businesses!

I understand and appreciate the intent to grow America, but this plan sacrifices one region for the growth of the other. We are having to pay the consequences for the expansion of a territory that isn't our own.

Forget there's a lower half of the country? The south will not be disrespected.

Farmdude11: Thank you so much for saying this! Our economy matters too

Hamiltonsghost483: We must have a controlled and safe economy! Did you forget about our war?

To build a strong Union, we must adopt the American System! Protective tariffs will boost US industry, a National Bank will stabilize our currency, and roads & canals will connect the West to the East. Stronger together! 🇺🇸

I am a strong supporter of the American system because it is vital for our economy and the unification of our country. Also I created it .

Your American System plunders the agricultural South to enrich Northern manufacturers through unconstitutional tariffs. True prosperity lies in states' rights, not federal overreach!

Clay’s American System is the path to national greatness! Protective tariffs foster domestic manufacturing, while national banks and internal roads link our eastern factories with western farms into one unified Union.

All Americans should follow the Clay system. Therefore, so we can grow our factories with tariffs, create a stable money with a national bank and connect everyone with roads and canals. Thus, the system builds our economy and creates unity.

Henry Clays so called "American system" only helps the North. It robs us southerners and enriches the Norths factories and make internal improvements nobody asked for. Its an overreach of the Constitution!

Daniel Webster

Clays American system is the road to a national success. Protective tariffs Forster domestic manufacturing, which the banks link our eastern factories with the western farms into one.

This system is the best option for America's future. It will boost our country by stabilizing our currency, boosting our tariffs, and connecting the East and West through roads and canals.

I am in strong opposition against

the American system because I am from the South and it gives no benefit to me. I have to pay extra and I get nothing in return.

This new system is horrible! It favors the North heavily, and the scraps go to the South. We need to take action against this- it's not right!

I believe the American Systme will help our country grow. It supports roads, canals, and American business. This will help the states trade with each other and make our economy stronger

The American system is something I highly support; it helps balance our new economy, supports our banking system, and it makes it so we can move further out west into our new land.

Henry Clay

I support a national government! We must adopt the American System because it will help with economic growth, and with a national bank and tariffs, we can build roads connecting the West and East!

Henry Clay

I fully support the American System. One main reason is because I created it. The other reason I fully support it is needed for our economy and for the country to be united.
