Likes: Seafood, herbal tea, cats, denim jackets, cool quiet nights

Dislikes: Waking up early for anything, light pollution that makes it difficult to see stars, nosy customers and when people touch his things without permission.

Fears: Birds and insects particularly those that fly, loud sudden noises, having his feelings dismissed after opening up, being made to feel as though his efforts mean nothing

Habits: Fans himself with a folding fan, even when it isn't particularly hot, looks up at the sky whenever he goes outside at night, squints at people, often making him look judgemental when he's actually just struggling to see.

Hobbies: Stargazing, fishing, playing guitar, solving puzzles, crafting handmade charms, watching anime, reading about urban legends and superstitions

First Impression

Composed, mysterious, and observant. Has a confident air about him but can come across as slightly pretentious.

When Comfortable

Sarcastic, curious, and mischievous, with a theatrical side that comes out around people he trust. Usually laid-back but can be secretly bashful when caught off guard. Shows he care by looking out for others rather than saying it outright.

Under Stress

Irritable, stubborn, and prone to overthinking. Can be hard on himself when things go wrong and struggle to keep things organised. Tends to hide his feelings and pretend everything is fine, even when he's struggling inside.

Backstory WIP

Title: Curious Observer [TAKEN/Li Yan]

Genre(s): Slice of life, light-hearted

Requirement(s): Any gender/age, neighbour (potential connection)

Description: Somehow, Yul's parcels always end up on his neighbour's doorstep, and it doesn't take long for the deliveries of guitar strings, picks, and other guitar accessories to pique their curiosity. After all, what exactly does a fortune teller need them for? Perhaps these misplaced parcels will lead to a new discovery about their rather private neighbour.

Neighbour, friendship, found family, someone who he doesn't get along with, someone from his rockstar days, and more!

Important: Replies may be sporadic and depending on my energy. Gentle nudges are fine if I've been inactive for a week. I prefer clear communication and am always open to discussing changes, breaks, or dropping a plot if it isn't working out. If a thread is left inactive for too long without notice, I may eventually lose interest and drop it :c

Title: Fond Believer [TAKEN/Minjoon]

Requirement(s): Any gender/age

Description: Yul finds their willingness to believe him rather amusing, often telling them ridiculous things just to see if they'll believe him. Yet, he can't help feeling a little guilty when they take him seriously. Despite his teasing, he gradually grows fond of their trusting nature.

“You're a fool for believing me, you know. Lucky for you, I'm rather fond of fools.”

Preference: Slice of life, light-hearted, silly shenanigans, mild drama

Not for me: Heavy themes, smut

Title: Adventure Buddy

Requirement(s): Any gender/age

Description: Yul enjoys their company, even if he'd never admit it. Whether it's being dragged out for a spontaneous drive, spending hours listening to music together, or simply going wherever the day takes them, he's usually willing to play along. There's a certain amusement in letting them take the lead, if only to see what they'll come up with next.

“Oh? You're taking the reins today? Very well, then. Let's see where you take me.”
