HBD NNOCCI!! I am so grateful to be a part of the Governing Council and for all that I've learned this year -- here's to another year of bringing climate communication to so many different spaces! <3

Happy Birthday NNOCCI! For 16 years, you have given me hope, a second family of people that I love, and the confidence and support to talk about climate every day. I credit NNOCCI with some much of my professional and personal growth these past years and so thankful for the entire NNOCCI community (hundreds of trainers, and thousands of supporters and allies).

Happy Sweet 16, NNOCCI!!!

Discovering this Network at the New England Aquarium in 2014 felt like desperately needed fresh air - I needed the hope, education, and support this organization provided. I had just come from a job who told me I wasn't allowed to talk about climate (not that I listened to that order...). From day 1, I knew this would be a chosen family...

You gave me the tools and confidence to have tough conversations and make a difference, and a community to tap into when times got tough (and they have gotten very tough at times, but this community persists). You've given me lifelong friends, moments of great pride in what you continue to become, and a chance to help other conservationists, educators, and scientists who want the same knowledge and support.

I'm so lucky to have found you, and to have the opportunity to oversee your growth once again at The Marine Mammal Center. Here's to many, many new friends from around the world who work with us to promote hope and action on climate and ocean change!

It's a sweet 16!!

Happy 16th Birthday, NNOCCI!! I may have only been around for a small portion of your existence, but I cannot wait to see what comes next! Thanks for giving me an amazing group of humans to call friends and a stunning support system to go through the chaos of life with!!

Oh, NNOCCI - it's fantastic to have been along for the ride. I love where we've come from and where we're going together. The good days are better knowing my NNOCCI community is a Slack message away. And the bad days - what bad days? NNOCCI will turn any frown upside down like that !!

Thanks for being awesome, NNOCCI friends!!
