First week :)

This has been my first full week in Poland, but I haven't been at the school; instead, I’ve been attending an ESC volunteer training session in Warsaw. My fellow volunteers and I met many other volunteers there from different countries who are also based in other Polish cities.

It has been a fantastic week, during which we took part in so many activities to get to know each other, learn interesting facts about Poland and a bit of the language, and gather plenty of ideas to use at school.

I’ve made a really cool group of friends and have been able to see that other people are in the same situation as me, which has really helped me during this first week. We’ll see each other again!😁

Second week :)

We started our school activities this week; on the first day, we did crafts—just like on Wednesday, when we made a giraffe 😁. We also made some small desserts that were delicious and played games in the gym; it went really well!

We’ve also started making some books for some class to teach them a few words in Italian, Spanish, and English. We haven't started the actual classes yet, but we made the books by hand :)

We didn't go to the school on Friday because we had a meeting. But we met some new volunteers—it was fun!
