Fizz!

This is Fizz, our class puppet and learning mascot. She likes setting the children challenges to complete each week. Once the children have completed a challenge, they receive a 'monster effort' stamp in their 'Monster Mission Passport'. Once the children have filled their passport, they will receive a special certificate.

Fizz enjoys playing circle games with the children, reading stories with the children, and greeting them in the mornings during registration time.

When a child has been excellent in Nursery and is made 'Star of the Week', they are able to hold Fizz during carpet time and look after her!

Food Choking Hazards- Packed Lunches

Please ensure the following if providing your child with a packed lunch:

-Small fruits eg. grapes, berries, tomatoes are cut into quarters.

-No foods containing nuts.

Please share any wow moments/milestones on Tapestry including: riding their bike, swimming certificates, dance certificates, football medals, doing jobs independently, joining new clubs like Rainbows, cooking or helping at home etc.

The Colour Monster

In Nursery, we explore 'The Colour Monster' text. This helps the children to become aware of, and understand, different emotions and the feelings of others. We discuss how we can manage our emotions in the classroom, such as being 'calm' in the book corner and talking to an adult when needed.

Each week we will be going out into our outdoor woodland area. Please send your child in with some wellington boots to wear!

Spare clothes

Please ensure your child has a spare set of clothes in their bag each day, or in a separate bag to be kept in school, in case of any accidents of getting wet during water play.
