It has been a fantastic week in school, with lots of exciting new learning taking place across the school. It has been wonderful to see the children so engaged, enthusiastic and eager to learn.

For those families beginning to think about secondary school choices, we would like to share the upcoming open evenings at high schools in our local area:

Teddy is a friendly Cavapoo puppy who will soon be joining us in school as our very own school dog. Over the coming months, Teddy will become a familiar face around school, helping to bring comfort, happiness and smiles to our children and staff.

Research shows that school dogs can have a positive impact on children's wellbeing, confidence and emotional development and we are looking forward to all the benefits Teddy will bring to our school community.

Teddy will live with Mrs Battersby and is going to be busy learning lots of important puppy skills before making regular visits to school. We know the children will be excited to meet him and watch him grow as part of the Leigh St Peter's family.
