I was deeply moved - the script wasn't just a series of monologues - it felt like a collective memory unfolding, strung together by the tension of not knowing where Margaret's husband was. It keeps you on the edge of your seat.

I was really impressed by how human and moving the play was, especially without costumes and such a minimal set. Every character felt distinctly different and convincing, and showed how such a large event affected individual humans. Back in the day when I was a teenager, that aspect wasn't something you could see or feel through the newscasts. The fact that it came through so strongly is a testament to the power of theater, and your skills as actors and crew. And sitting in the audience, I could definitely feel I wasn't the only one feeling this. The technical aspects really enhanced the experience as well, so props to the people in the booth!

This play helped me remember the the time I felt as one with my American neighbours. When I felt the pain of another nation, when the world stopped, and we hugged those around us, and we remembered that for the most part, we all want to be loved, and that we are all so lucky to be able to still be here to feel that love.

When I was told this is a play about 9/11, I initially braced myself for an hour and a half of heavy subject matter. Instead I was led on a journey of genuine ups and, of course, tear-jerking downs. But it was a pleasant mixture of the very human reactions in the aftermath of a terrible tragedy.

I was surprised how well this play fit into the English-speaking Amsterdam theater community as it had quite a bit of Dutch and Dutch (Caribbean) characters in it. There is more distance to the events and aftermath of the attack on the world trade center here, over the pond, and not many Dutchmen would call themselves American patriots. But it wasn't a story for patriots. It was a story for people who fear, who hope, who love, who grieve, who laugh and who give each other comfort. It's a very human play, told by amazing actors, whose performance was enhanced by stellar video, audio and lights design. Kudos!

This was my first official live watch of a play and I have to say the actors really put their all into this performance and the stories being told were very insightful. I had no idea how much impact this event had globally at first since I was born after the event of 9/11. Suffice it to say I had a wonderful time!

Stellar performances from the entire cast! I was fully in it for the whole thing. I also loved how the play was adapted for the Amsterdam audience. The global angle really brought a new perspective to the story of 9/11. Bravo!!

A touching a powerful play, beautifully performed. It treated a heavy subject with sensitivity and managed not to let the weight of the story overwhelm us (although I'm sure I've heard someone crying in the audience). It sparked conversations we hadn't had in a long time, about that awful day. Well done!

Like many others I had braced myself to feel uncomfortable revisiting that dreadful chapter a quarter of century ago. However, the subject matter was in good hands with Midge Guererra; she had focussed on the humanity, the connection and the heart that kept beating in all of us. If anything I came out of that dark theatre feeling lighter and more positive than I'd felt in a long time.

This was of course also thanks to the great individual acting chops of all 5 actors and the cohesion and spirit they brought as a collective to the stage. Which was in turn down to the great direction, support and creative mind of director George.

Who has known Midge for years and their relationship layered everything with an informality and intimacy that only comes with decades of friendship.

Which brings the whole proces full circle. And that too I felt; we go on. We live. We love. We care. We write too long....😉

In conclusion: bravo!
