As a Water Accounts Field Representative, you will be responsible for reading approximately 107,000 water meters using a mobile reading and collections system. Your work ensures accurate consumption data, timely billing, and proper account management.

Once your drivers complete their CDL-A training at your school we will provide transportation and lodging to one of our nearest Terminals for Orientation. Upon completion of orientation, they will receive on-the-road, on-the-job (OJT) training for 3 to 5 weeks with one of our leaders/trainers/coaches. 

Drivers who sign up for teams will receive weekly training pay of $1,000 (per driver) for an average of 4 weeks totaling $4,000 (per driver).

Pay:

• With Werner a new driver can potentially gross $18,100 (per driver) during the first 90 days of their driving career. 

• Select Teams Guaranteed Weekly Pay (GWP) of $1,150 (per driver) after training completion ($13,800 per driver for 90 days or 12 weeks)

• Team Incentive Pay of $300 (per driver after 90 days) 

• Many accounts start at $55,000 - $65,000 per year. Team accounts starting average is $120,000 – 160,000 annually split between drivers.

Equipment:

Werner is currently purchasing tractors to feature 2000-watt inverters or APU’s. This feature allows drivers to place televisions, microwaves, etc onboard.

Our Hybrid-to-Remote Path:
We believe in setting you up for success with structured, onsite support before transitioning you to working from home:

Weeks 1–3 (Training): In-office full-time.

Weeks 4+ (Transition): Gradual shift to hybrid work, beginning with one day per week working from home, then increasing to two days per week.

Post-Graduation (~8 months): After completing the training program, you will transition to almost 100% work from home, with two mandatory office days per month.
