If you live in the AUSTIN area, the league assignment process has not begun yet. The only teams that have been assigned are directly affiliated with the host districts. You will hear from me once the league assignment process has begun. Also please note that there are a lot of Austin area teams, and over 50 of y'all have already asked to join GEMS. The maximum on each league is 36, so it is very likely that a lot of teams will not get their first pick.

Nominations are currently open with a deadline of December 15th at 10:59 PM Texas time. The Leadership Award goes through the FIRST scoring system, which means there are no exceptions to this deadline.

We will do our best to place teams in one of their preferred leagues, but we may not be able to accommodate every preference. Popular leagues such as GEMS may have more interested teams than available spots, and GEMS and XSTREAM have spots reserved for teams in their respective school districts. Your responses will also help us understand which options work for teams as we plan for Austin’s remaining capacity needs.
