Letters from the Lighthouse is an exciting adventure book set during World War 2. It involves children named: Olive, Sukie and Cliff - what will happen to them when they are evacuated to Budmouth Point? I really enjoyed the drama and solving the mystery of the story. I really like Olive as a character because she wants to find out the answers to the clues and solve the mystery. I recommend this book to older children who are interested in WW2 and who love to solve mysteries.

This book was about a japanise girl called cherry who had to move from glasgow to the country side with her father into a home with four other sisters and a new mum

This book was a very interesting read ,from forbiden crushes to sleeping in caves this book is a book worth a read

My favourite character is cherry because she is a very nice character and I love her name

I would recomend this book to anyone

This is my favourite book series because it is relatable. My favourite characters are Lottie and Jess because I think they work very well together and Jess is a supportive friend. It is a very dramatic book because Lottie falls out with a lot of her friends but she always makes friends again with them. She has two hamsters and 2 siblings,a brother called Toby and a sister called Bella, and she has to take care of Bella sometimes.

This book is not yet at our school library, it's in the library in town, but I would love it if it was in our library. This book is amazing and is actually funny but yeah. Basically the mayor of Grimwood, Titus , is retiring so now other animals now want to be mayor so they can rule over Grimwood and there's a new character in there ( I'm not saying who) and its an amazing book if you find it in the Colchester library.

This book is stupendous!

What happens in this is book is there is a refugee(the one on the front cover)and he is sent to this school with this is other boy or girl (it’s in first person so I can’t tell) and they get along…..sort of.

The ending was good and it took me a total of 1 month to finish (including the half - term).

Definitely this book is top on my list and I recommend this book to anyone that can handle really emotional stuff (eg:in the book the refugee had to be evacuated though this is got nothing to do with ww2 this is just an example of a really light emotional part).

This book was funny,Greg's brother has a band and they are the worst band in the world! I recommend this book to people that have just got off of black band! They are fun and easy to read.

This book was about a family with two children (carly and lily ) and a dog and they find 3 kittens in the woods the rest is for you to find out !

My favourite character is stanley (one of the cats ) because she is adorable and probably very fluffy !

I would recomend this book to readers in year three or four because it was very fast to read

Over all i would rate it a 6/10 because it was very fast to read and it wasn't very interesting but for younger readers it could be a thrilling read

This book had lots of facts a stories about animals and the north and south poles

I don't have a favourite character because this is a fact book not fiction so there isn't any spefic individual animals

I would recomend this book to any one who likes animals and geography

I enjoyed this book because it was funny but also a little emotional. My favourite character in the book was Blessing-

she is a little girl who discovers that snowman’s are real. My favourite part is when Alfred. the snowman, sneaks Blessings mum out of hospital and he takes her and Blessing to a snowman party.

(None of that was my original writing, it’s the prophecy. The actual review is below):

This book is about a SilkWing* named Luna. Luna is a female flamesilk*, which is a mutation of sorts. In this book, Luna and her friends will have to face a great evil (as the prophecy states). Some of Luna’s friends are Sundew, a LeafWing* with leafspeak*, and Swordtail, a regular SilkWing*. This is the last book in the series, so I recommend you read the others first.

I recommend this book to mythical creature enthusiasts and fantasy lovers. My favourite character in this book was Freedom, formerly Lizard.

SilkWing: SilkWing dragonets are born wingless and go through a metamorphosis as age six - this gives them butterfly-like wings and silk that they can weave with.

Flamesilk: A genetical mutation that is revealed while and before metamorphosis has happened. The dragon/dragonet with flamesilk can weave silk that can glow and/or set things on fire.

LeafWing: Supposedly wiped out in the Tree Wars, but while they lived, they had green and brown scales and leaf-shaped wings.

Leafspeak: A power that not many of the LeafWings have. The dragon/dragonet that has this power can make plants grow and talk to them.

I rate this book 9.5/10 (Luna is kinda boring as a POV character in my opinion)

This book is set on a beach were there is a girl called Anya ,who has gone on holiday .while there ,she meets a girl with a puppy ...

My favourite character is Anya because she is enthusiastic and caring

I would recommend this book to anyone who has a heart for animals

Over all i would give it a 8/10

Timmy failure (mistakes were made)

This is the second Timmy failure book I’ve ever read. It’s a good book. I’d recommend it for you because it’s a funny and enjoyable book to read. The book is about Timmy Failure starting his own detective agency. My favourite bit in this book is when he starts his business and calls it total failure greatness. His nemesis Corrina sets up a detective agency next to his and he throws his shoe down on the CCIA (Corrina’s agency).

My other favourite part of the book is when he took his bear (total) the zoo because the zoo wanted to keep him because he was a polar bear and the zoo didn’t have many polar bears left. Timmy hates Rollo (which is Timmy’s partner) , one day he came into school with words on his foot that said “don’t be like rollo”.

If you like dog man or wimpy kid books I’d recommend reading Timmy Failure.

I’d give this book a strong 8/10

How to be Me is a mixed emotion book about a boy called Lucus.Acople of years ago Lucus lost his Mum he and his dad DO NOT get along. His dad has a girlfriend/wife called Venessa -she makes dog jackets- her and Lucus got a bond in the middle of the book. When his dad booked a Drama club for Lucus to go to he makes a friend called Keely and she has a younger brother called Robbie-Keely owns a pair of rollerblades.near the end of the book his cat died (Mowgli) he held him outside because he never went outside in his final moments. Just a day away from the show the hut falls down! Lucus offers to host it in his ballroom because he has a massive house.At the end of the book he and his dad bond while he image Mum holding Mowgli smiling.
