Working on a sketch for a blog post. Really struggled to get the paw/hand to look natural for both hands. Looking at it, i can see they aren't the same size!! But I'm leaving it as is 😅

I finished my blog illustration. I was going to use the Nitty Gritty brushes but ended up using/testing the new brushes I'm working on. I LOVE the texture of the one brush in particular, I've also created some interesting canvas effects which I think work well with the new brushes.

Did you know that the very first scruffy rough sketch I create when testing brushes for the first time is ALWAYS a bear! I have no idea why, but my hand just automatically creates a little hill with two ears, a little snout, hat and bow tie. It just does it without thinking. Needless to say I've created some pretty ugly looking rough bears in my time!! 😂

Working on an illustration for a blog post about the difference between RGB and CMYK. Sometimes I really struggle to find ways to illustrate my blog posts, but I think it's worth the trouble to try and create a lovely illustration. It not only adds to a better visual appeal, but also pushes me to think outside the box.

Anyway, in this one, which I'm still working on, for some reason, I really struggled with the bear on the right. I just couldn't get his little head and face and expression to work, but finally, I figured it out. Now I can move on to finishing the illustration. What a relief!!
