What is Intensive Interaction?

Why are they important? They help your child feel valued, become more independent and feel confident trying new things.

• More milk – asking for more to drink.

• Help me – asking for assistance.

• Look at that – sharing interest in something.

• All finished – showing they have finished an activity.

• Do it again – asking to repeat an activity.

  
  

Use these words during everyday activities, alongside gestures, signs or pictures if helpful.

Why is it important? It helps your child develop early speech and language skills. Follow their interests and make it fun!
