ESU 3 Guiding Principle

Reviewed our organization goals and mission. Met as an AI sub-group from our larger committee to discuss what was important to us in relation to our organization. Used AI to draft the first guiding principle towards employees. AI sub-group gave feedback on AI generated wording. Finalized our guiding principle around employees. Took a portion of two meeting times to complete.

ESU 3 Roadmap Year 2

Technology Integration Committee of 20 members divided into 3 sub-groups to work on professional learning and guidance. This included construction of an employee survey to inform the work. The total timeline completion took a full year from Sept. - Aug.

ESU 3 Policy to Guidance

Board adopted AI policy. Our ESU 3 sub-group read through the policy and marked ? for questions and ! for areas we knew would need guidance or clarity. We a lot of conversation around the "only can use approved apps" as we did not have a formal vetting process. Through those discussions we determined it was important that it was how they used the tools. We had a goal of creating a front/back desk guide for employees.We had AI draft an initial guidance document. Our team then commented on the draft document and drafted a completely new document with more of what we were envisioning. The original AI draft really gave us momentum on this work to get our ideas out of our heads and onto a working proto-type. The final guidance desk guide was produced after 3 - 4 months of work from the start.
