Social media is used as a way of communicating long distances, through quicker and more efficient approach. Before people had phones or social media, face to face and letters were the only way to communicate across distances making it hard for people to be as socially as their true nature. In 1792 the telegraph was invented that allowed messages to be delivered over a long distance much faster. In 1865 pneumatic post was invented for a way to deliver letters fast through underground pressured air tubes like banks. Two bigger discoveries happened in the last decade, in 1800 the telephone came out and in 1890 the radio was released. Both the telephone and radio make an appearance today but in a new modern look both giving the same functions and even more.
