It's always easy to go out of order, but that can leave out important things and can turn out messy. By working down the criteria in order, the pp criteria is the best way to display evidence as well (evidence that the student is thinking, learning and reflecting throughout the ART DP course). It is meant to be an expression of the progression of thought in order to more fully understand your work. In our journals, if we move down the criteria and understand what they require, our work should be fleshed out and in a cohesive order. Having a good journal is crucial to doing well with the process portfolio as we select bits from it to put into screens that make up this external assessment. 
Question: Is the progress portfolio done while we are still creating studio pieces or towards the end of the process?
