After a year away from Bael Thoris and failing in his endeavours to find the artefacts of Leira and earn gold to fund more expeditions and restore her temples, David comes back to the city of Bael Thoris. Here, he hopes to seek out the aid of its greatest industry, one where he can work hard, and make a living both for himself and for the temples of Leira, as well as future expeditions. An industry so grand and known that almost everyone can be a part of it, and at its very centre? The criminal underworld. 

Distressed after having to murder someone, not because of the act in of itself but because the victim was part of a gang known as 'The Hyenas'

Is interested in the ambition to start a new gang in order to take control of the city proper

Happy at the progress that is being made concerning how they have their own base of operations at The Red Ball and that they've got more allies. 

Shocked and horrified at the actions of the gnome monk known as James who has clearly tricked the group into going down into the tunnels and now circling them and possibly causing Grddd's death. He begins to feel horribly guilty and at fault for what happened. But it's all worth it in the end...right?

Saddened at all that's happened, all for 300 gold. One of the only temples he's known is nothing more than fodder for bodies to be resurrected, Grddd was killed as his own fault, his partners want to psychologically brainwash a hostage. Is this really what he wants? Is this really who he is now?  

After all that's happened, when it comes to exploring the under-tunnels and what his allies are doing, David feels extremely polarised. He doesn't exactly know what he's really doing right now and feels as if he's just going along this crazy ride.

Finds him to be odd especially since David has never seen a Kenku before

The way he speaks is also very odd

Can be a bit of a nuisance but thinks he means well

Starting to sense that he's becoming more isolated from the group and hope that he's doing okay - his strength is invaluable 

Despite appreciation for him, is somewhat wary of how he treated their latest hostage

Glad he seems to be doing well...at least he hopes he is

Believes he is a disgusting oaf that isn't really the type of person he wants to be associated with

Started to appreciate him after setting up an alliance with the Ravenscars 

Was concerned for him and instantly went to heal him after he was poisoned by Memento Mori

Shocked by his sudden death and is saddened by the fact that he is now gone for what is seemingly forever. 

Hopes to be able to free his soul one day as part of his clerical duties, perhaps an adventure for the far future.

Though appreciative of his efforts, believes he has an "itchy trigger finger", and is unreliable

Amazed by his combative prowess and believes that he does great damage for the team, someone being that far back and having range is also useful

Thankful for him carrying the wounded Ravenscar member when they were being chased by the Warforged guards 

Greatly appreciates him giving David the core of the Warforged that murdered Grddd and ultimately for his efforts when it comes to combat, and for creating his new armour.

Keeping an eye on him, between worried and frightened at his activities when he was fighting creatures in the under-tunnels.
