They put so much stress on the children. Students don't even know what they are for so lot of the student don't even try. I noticed many of them slacking off and not taking them serious.

However, in practice, it fails to address the various learning needs of the students and does little to differentiate assessment for students based on these needs. With regard to the PSAT, it places an inordinate amount of pressure on both students and teachers. When I attempted to take it, it reminded me of the ACT that i took in high school. It is a lot of pressure for individuals who are visual learners and like to see things in front of their faces. And it can also be inaccurate online. Teachers feel pressured because they have to create a curriculum based around these tests.
