Nazi propaganda warning Germans about the dangers of the eastern European "subhuman." This would appeal to Germans, created by the Nazi party. On the left we have a Nazi in a lighter tone and they look way friendlier, and on the right we have a Jew (typical stereotype appearance) in a darker shade probably to make them look bad. The image is fairly ineffective to us, but back then it may have effected them differently, however the message it communicates is loud and clear. It uses misleading information because it puts a stereotype on Jews and portrays false images. In our opinion it's negative towards the Jews and positive towards the Nazis.

"Behind the Enemy Powers: The Jew"

Description: A sly looking Jewish man stands behind the Allied Powers: The Soviet Union, Britain, and America. The mysterious man has a Jewish chain of the Star of David showing he's Jewish.
Identification: Created 1942. It shows a Jew behind a British, American, and a Soviet flags which were the Allied Powers during World War I which were the enemies to German. It says " Behind the Enemy Powers: The Jew." We believe it was a poster.
Interpretation: The Nazi's are trying to portray the Jews as a conspirator who's provoking war. He's going behind the back of the Allied Powers.
Evaluation: Germany was apart of the Central powers during World War I and America, Britain, and Soviet Union were the Allied Powers and they were enemies but the Germans want them to think the Jews aren't loyal to either side. The poster does successful get the point across. It's not necessarily fair or true because there's no proof that the Jews did this. In our opinion it portrays a negative idea because they're falsely accusing them.

Description: The heading is in red so your eyes are drawn to it because it is important. The fist is a nazi arm and the snake represents the nazi political enemies such as capitalism and marxism.
Identification: This was created by the Nazi in the late 1920's. The title means death of the lie. Marxismus means marxism and hochfinauz means capitalism. It was a poster/flyer.
Interpretation: It shows that the Nazis believe they are strong enough to take over the leadership of the capitalists and marxists. The intended audience is germans, maybe who are on the fence of political parties. They wanted to feel empowered and included in the Nazi party.
Evaluation: They are calling capitalists and marxists snakes. So it is unfair towards those groups of people. It is both a positive and negative message. It is positive towards the nazis and negative towards their political rivals. It is effective to get the point across that the Nazi are strong/better than their rivals.

We see a Jew with a star of David on his forehead. He has the stereotypical big nose and looks scary. The shading and the evil look gives off the impression that Jews are bad and scary. It was created by the Nazis to give a bad face to the Jews. The main letters on the top translate to the "Eternal Jew". This was a poster made in the depression in Germany. They are trying to say that all of the Jews are the same. The first line on the bottom says they look like people, and implies that they are suspicious and scheming. The intended audience were the Germans and that Jews were evil and up to no good. It is not fair because this a view of Jews which true to all of them. They are making it seem like Jews aren't even people.

The man displayed has a long nose, implying he is a Jew. It has a yellow and black color palette. The lighting highlights all the dark features of the face rather than a picture that highlights the good features. He is drawn with an angry expression and does not have a very appealing face. The poster itself is a cover for a documentary made in in 1940 "The Eternal Jew" and directed by Fritz Hippler. The poster was intended to advertise the documentary, but also to display the Jews as ugly and scary long nosed people. Typically the kind of people you might want to avoid out on the street. Although the image does convey its message correctly, it has a strong use of unfair and misleading stereotypes of Jews. It expresses a negative image of Jews since the man drawn on the poster is unappealing to look at, and is purposefully drawn to make Jewish people look bad.

Step One: It is promoting the election of Hitler. It shows a strong man with a Swastika on his belt and he’s breaking free from handcuffs.

Step Two: The Nazis creating this to support Hitler’s election. You can’t see when it was created based on the image, but it was probably created around the time of Hitler’s election 1933. The title means “Final Election Hitler” which is persuading people to vote for Hitler. This was a poster to persuade people during the election.

Step Three: The message that the creator is trying to express is to support Hitler and the Nazi party. It is saying that supporting the Nazi party will make you stronger and help you break free from the depression.

Step Four: This image successfully communicates what it was intended to. It uses misleading information because it shows the strong man with the Nazi belt. It represents a positive message for Germans because it isn’t showing anyone, like Jews, in a negative way.
