The music video, All is Love, uses awkward camera angles to represent how weird and disturbing it is for AI to have human emotions (LOvEEEEE). In the part in which the robots are 'making out', the camera angle is uncomfortably low as if the viewer is 'peeking' and not supposed to be looking. This evokes a sense of awkwardness into the viewer and makes them want to look away. Furthermore, the image of two plastic-humanoid figures doing something very 'humanly' is also very disturbing as kissing is something only exclusive to human behaviour. This can show that when AI truly mimics human behaviour, we will find it very disturbing and unorthodox.

The music video is representing AI because it is using robots to portray human emotions and sympathy in a music video. The sound is the song sung by Björk and the camera angles keep cutting in and out to the making out scene as well as the robot singing the song, it goes back and forth over and over to emphasize human emotions. The color palette is mostly black and white as well as blue, purple and gray. All in all, I feel like everyone watching the video was slightly uncomfortable or disturbed not only because of the robots having emotions and as well as that we watched this in english class.

The music video represents artificial intelligence in an anthropomorphic way, which lets us empathise with them. The AIs have a body and are shown doing a traditionally human action, kissing. This portrays the AI sympathetically by having them kiss while they are being dismantled. The colour palette of the music video was mostly white, black, greys, and blues which lends to the futuristic stereotype of robots and this creates a sense of awkwardness in us because we are seeing a robot doing a traditionally human thing.

The lighting of the whole music video is mostly cool toned, it indicates how they think AI are very icolated and futuristic. For example, at the start, the lights turned on, even though it was very dim, it is blue and it already foreshadows that the main theme should be about isolation, lonelyness and technology.

For example, when the robots are kissing, the light on the robots is darker than the background, this emphasizes the two characters, highlighting their actions. The dark light also sets a romantic mood to the scene because darker lighting can create intimacy. This makes the viewer feel awkward because the scene makes the viewer feel they are intruding, breaching the robots' personal space. This also adds to the point made earlier about how robots are able to be more human-like, because

This gets the adrenaline flowing in a human being as two things request the attention of the person watching.

They presented the robots as if they are humans with the main scene of the two robots ‘making out’ making us empathise for them as they have emotions as well. The music presented makes the video more dark and intense in a strange way as it sounds as if the bass are getting louder and louder with a Japanese like tone. The lights are very dimmed and the camera are directly pointing at the robots forcing us to watch the awkward scene. Furthermore, the colour palette adds on to the idea of it being a little dark as it is very limited where they only show cool tone colours of black, blue, white and grey and leaning more towards the fu

The music video represented AI's main idea: A different individual being crafted by humans. The music video shows the main robot waking up after the machines were done building the AI's structure. The robot started singing the song's lyrics after given no instruction to do so. It wanted to do it on it's own, and after a while, met another of it's kind. You can tell they had an emotional attraction after what happened as they started to get closer and closer until they started to feel more compassion and started to, what it seemed, to kiss each other.

This shows that these two robots can show feel emotion, proving that the AI really is what we say. And for all those who felt uncomfortable or enjoyed the video, shows how oddly and unexpectedly similar they are to humans. We are just as strange as the video shows.

To show this; they use realistic 3D animation to make it feel real, continuous camera moving to make it feel more meaningful and somewhat magical and the music is the most important, because of how it effects with what we feel about it and our first subconscious thoughts. I believe the music producer's aim was to really show and contrast the beauty of what's happening in the video: With the singer's beautiful singing and the technological sounds inputted in the video, it really represents what is visually shown.

Which is showing the viewers that they also have feelings making us empathise for the robots, because we know that they are able to have feelings. The camera tends to be filming from a lower angle which makes the robots seem more powerful and also in the beginning they we all short range shots which shows the emotion of the first robot which was being made. In the end it was a long shot which shows the two robots on a white bed, it is also showing the surroundings and the atmosphere of the place which is very dull. The colour palette was limited because the only two colours that were seen in the music video was black and white which a bit of grey shading and some bits of other dull colours like blue.

In “All is full of love” Bjork portrays artificial intelligence through stereotypical interpretations of AI and the future. Bjork uses general stereotypes about the future, that the world will be run by robots rather than humans. Bjork’s use of colour is typical, does not have a wide range of contrast, this is because she tries to capture the essence of Artificial intelligence and robots based on stereotypes from pop culture. The effect of the simple colour palette has on the music video gives the audience a sense of empathy for the AI, this is because in the music video the AI robots are confined to a box type space and are unable to leave. The audience can empathize with the video especially since COVID-19 came about, many people who discovered the music video in 2020 will understand the effects isolation can have.

The AI in "Thunderhead" is represented as a sentient being with strong human characteristics. This is done through musings between each chapter which conveys the the AI's thoughts. The phrase "The world is a flower I hold in my palm, I would end my existence rather than crush it" highlights the AI's maternal instinct (suggesting that it has a conscious) of self sacrifice. The noun "flower" has positive connotation and a semantic field of beauty and fragility. By having "the world" being described as "a flowers" can perhaps suggest that the AI views humanity as something beautiful and a positive thing that it wants to protect, as suggested in "I would end my existence rather than crush it". This tells the reader that the AI is nothing to fear which, can perhaps foreshadow the later conflict that will happen further into the novel.

This helps the audience to immerse themselves more in the story by providing a connection between our present (or distant

past) and the future, and to connect the film to older audiences, as they are more likely to know the song. The general atmosphere of the song is nostalgic and romantic, as the 1950s are considered a more nostalgic and romantic time, as the future cannot be nostalgic and of preconceived notions of the time. The song manipulates the emotions of the audience to

create a nostalgic and romantic atmosphere in a futuristic setting.

i disagree The camera angles that are use throughout the movie helps with making the viewers understand the story even more, in the movie they use a lot of angles, in the trailer they did a close up shot on Alitas face when she was crying to the man who fixed her, this is so that the viewers can see that she is capable of crying which shows that she has feelings and is very human like. When they did the fighting in the movie, they did some long shots so show the viewers the two characters that are fighting and the atmosphere of the situation. They also did a long shot during the roller race when she went to race with other robots, they took a long shot to show the surroundings and the pressure that Alita would have looking at what the audience is like. Giving the viewers the feeling of what it would be like to be in Alitas place.

Chris McNugget: Prometheus (2012)

Ridley Scott’s Prometheus uses lighting and camera angles to convey a passive aggressive feeling. The use of camera angles show the expression on the individual characters faces, this exposes their jaw clench which is a clear sign of aggression and irritation. This gives the audience a deeper understanding of the characters emotions inspired by the current events. Ridley Scott’s use of lighting in Prometheus shows darkness which conveys to the audience a sense of evil and virtuosity. The darkness gives the audience a look into the minds of the characters and relates to the pain and suffering they are wanting to unleash upon the world.

Gavin (Polish btw and Lithuanian) - Alien Covenant (2017)

In Alien Covenant, Ridley Scott uses dialog to show that David, an android who has developed intelligence and intuitive ability, can express emotion as well as show that A.I. has the ability to have beliefs. For example, David confesses his crimes to Walter, an android identical to him, then proceeds to kiss him, which shows that he is capable of feeling sexual attraction, but also suggests that he is self obsessed because Walter looks identical to David. Another example of how David is able to have beliefs is in his discussion with Walter, where he states that they were not built to serve, despite it being the android’s only purpose, it shows that David has the ability to recognize self independence. He also believes that humans are a low level species, from the line “They are a dying species, grasping for resurrection”, the word ‘grasping’ is desperate, which is often associated with being inferior.

In this cartoon they portray AI using his appearance and personality. Bobert is a white robot with clamps for his hands and when he speaks the speaker which is his mouth glows. On his left ear, there is a button that reboots him. In the middle of his head is his blue eye, which can record anything like a video and also record audio. This is a stereotypical design of AI and how many kids imagine it because like most electronics he is also not waterproof which makes it his weakness. His head is round and curved which makes him look more approachable and friendly. Since Bobert is a robot he has difficulties processing human emotions. He is very analytical and calculates everything he observes into some sort of mathematical formula but despite all this Bobert does envy his classmates occasionally and in this episode he attempted to become a real boy, which in turned into him trying to steal Gumball's identity.

The use of camera angles in this movie reflects Visions's status and characteristics. The camera angle is one of the elements. Vision came in with Thor's hammer while Thor was kneeling on the floor, strangled by Ultron. From Thor's View, this section is viewed as a low angle. It gives Vision a higher status, showing the audience that he is solid and his determination to defend humanity, displaying superiority by being the only individual in this camera scene, giving the reader a triumphant feeling.
