In this position he is tasked with upholding all rules and regulations at the private school, while also maintaining educational standards and supervising the school’s faculty and administration. Prior to joining ACS, Dr. Kelvin Griffin spent several years as principal of the Destiny Achievers Academy of Excellence in Ellenwood. His achievements in this position included a successful $70,000 grant proposal to the Georgia Department of Family and Children Services, which was used to create a diverse, safe after-school program for students. Dr. Kelvin Griffin holds a master of education from Mercer University in Atlanta. After receiving an educational leadership certificate from the University of West Georgia, he returned to Mercer University to complete a doctoral program, also in educational leadership.
