Charles I (1625-1649)

I am King named Charles I and I believed in the divine right of kings. And the struggles with Parliament over taxation, religion, and governance has continued. My feud with Parliament led to me dissolving and the governed body multiple times with their permission. This conflict quickly has escalated resulting in the English Civil War in 1642. My forces were called Royalists or Cavaliers.

Oliver Cromwell (1649-1658)

I am King Oliver Cromwell I was a Puritan in the Army General. Of my success in the Civil War, I was crowned the Lord Protector where I was ruled England until my death in 1658. I changed the government of England by abolishing the monarchy and establishing the commonwealth.

When parliament completed the overthrown of King James II they asked Me to rule jointly as protestant alternative. My rule begins the Constitution Monarchy in England by agreeing to govern in accordance with the laws and decisions of Paraliament.
