It's a chip that they implant into humans heads so they can enhance their learning by always giving innovating questions, replace traumatic memories with good memories, and maybe able to communicate brain to brain. It is projected to happen in the next 15 years for this to come out and be the next innovation for the human species to learn more. This will be able to remove memories for people who have experienced trauma over their lives. The main focus is that it's suppose to help the people not suffer as much who have had a stoke, concussions, and Alzheimer's disease.

The main focus is to help treat neurological diseases. It will help family close to you by helping repair the damage with concussions, strokes, and Alzheimer disease. This will affect America dramatically, knowing that people close to them suffering might being able to get their life back. Then, Johnson's goal is to go further and put this chip in everyone's head. This could mean humans becoming smarter and make further innovations that could save lives like a cure to cancer. Then we will be able to communicate to others without using our mouths. This could promote more group collaboration, which also leads to more innovations.

This chip is still in the planning stages and he's thinking that maybe he doesn't have to implant the chip under the skull after all for it to work. The chip is designed to communicated to the brain cells that helps you recall and store information. He says 100 million seems like a lot of money, but to him it's not to solve this problem and that over time he'll need 1 billion dollars to execute a series of milestones. He also says the main problem will be society and the fear that all this intelligence promoted by the chip will cause terror. It also means basically that the ones who start out with the chip(people with strokes, concussions, and etc.) will be the first super humans, but if the FDA doesn't relax the rules, not everyone will be able to purchase intelligence.

This video tells us what he believes will happen in the future. He believes with his chip we will be able to communicate brain to brain thanks to his chip. He thinks that we will be able to extend our memory or something else we love to do like extending our learning capabilities. He also believes we will merge with machines eventually. After human rights, civil rights, marriage rights, the future will have evolutionary rights when we are part machine.
