When I was a kid, I used to argue for almost anything with my sister. We fought a lot for the one who would have the best bedroom, for what movie was the best, for who the icecream belonged to, well, anything. Whatever the matter, my parents always tried and made us stop fighting and they never took the side of any of us, saying we were both wrong everytime. I used to be angry about that, but nowadays, I do realize that it is important to undestand the both sides of a fight or a discussion so we can find an option that could help both of them.

The other day, my son came home from school very sad because he had taken his stickers to school but a little friend took several stickers from him. Then he talked to the teacher about the fact, but as the teacher didn't know who the stickers belonged to, she took them both to the school's secretary. Before that then, She asked the students if anyone had seen anything about that. Then a girl took the side of my son and said "teacher I saw when Gabriel took Arthur's stickers and said: They are mine".

In the end, the other student's mother was called to school and the student received a punishment..

About a month ago, a terrorist group called Hamas killed innocent people in the Gaza border. Some friends of mine take the side of Palestine argument. I'm married and I have two children. a girl and a boy. Currently, they have their own life, but they lived together until almost adulthood. And despite having the same upbringing and having studied at the same school, they had completely different opinion. This is a normal family situation, and sometimes the father or mother had to choose which party to support or to take the side of. So far so good.
