Transitioning in class has been very smooth and it's been easy for my brain to go from one topic to another. I also love all the visualization of what we're learning as it helps bridge a disconnect I can often have when I'm just getting fed information without seeing it work.

The pacing feels right. It is not boring and it is also not too fast paced. I also think there is a good balance between lectures, independent work, and other stuff. I also like the space carved out for doing things like connections or just laughing about a funny thing someone said.

I enjoy the interactive bits of class like the hand demo with the seasons of the earth and the lunar phases, and the glasses with the light bulb to understand Kirchhoff laws better.

The light lab demo was really informative

I think a middle ground between walks and not walking would be great. I love the walks, the walks are great, but when we sit and do the math for a long time maybe just like. two minutes to stand would be pretty special idk

Today we had students do some hard conceptual learning for HW, (with checks for understanding) and then doing problems to kick off class the next morning; it was like 2 hours of good learning by them!

the free research time with help from teachers was helpful wowza

I think when we are doing math problems in a group for a long amount of time it would be nice for there to be like 30 second breaks within it just to get up and stretch or something

I was kind of lost during homework last night, the open endedness is good for later on but when I still don't really know what I need to actually get started it was a little overwhelming

Maybe alternate between the research and the learning (math) so that it feels more balanced after day 2

The video from rachel (i think was her name) was pretty hard to understand and she often referred to different parts of space as "things" instead of saying there names which was super confusing. Maybe don't use this video next year?

The work periods can be brutal sometimes maybe more spread out activities? Up to you but I honestly think that would help with productivity.

It was a really cool field trip even if it wasn't totally aligned with what we're doing it was still very informative and interesting.

Letting Children go to the DMV for AAS and learning about how DESI might constrain the Cosmological Constants further.

I loved the field trip it was super sick and very informative. It was one of the best parts of this immersive so far IMO! It was very cool to see all of the different backgrounds of people that work there and the different jobs they do -- like its not just engineers and astrophysicists, there are so many different paths that could lead you to a job there. The ESD technology was very cool and seeing how they try to produce everything in house

the demo statelite to show people what they make and how it looks like was a good way to learn more about what they do because as a visual learner it was really helpful. I also found it interesting that they used three different times and that the statelite time only worked when it was in geostational orbit?
