The sun was up early and the excitement for the day got me up pretty early too. I had my outfit planned for over 2 weeks now so I was mentally prepared on what to put on and I got into the my new suit and was ready.

We got to the venue and it was getting warmer but we'd got inside before it was too hot to notice. I put my gown on and my hat, and began to take photos with friends. Before I could realise, I began to feel warmer. My head was emulating heat. My hair began to stick to my forehead and my face got redder and redder. Before I knew it, I'd sweat through my suit, it was dripping down my face and it was only 12pm.

With the endless standing around and taking pictures the day was more mentally exhausting than imagined but what fun it was. I never wear heels! In my entire life I’ve worn them once for my year 11 prom! I practiced in them to make sure I could walk fine and I managed to survive my actual graduation ceremony!

Afterwards me and my family went for a meal and decided to walk back to the car after the meal from one side of Birmingham City Centre to the other… by the end of the night my brother had to give me a piggy back because I could not walk another step in these heels! I started panicking because I didn't have a second option and no bobby pins around. So I had so sell a tap it. Not only was it the Monday, it was Monday at 9:30am!

Leaving truck festival on the Sunday at midnight, we drove back to bham through the night and got to sleep about 3am, having to get up at 6am get to ready, meaning we only had 3 hours sleep! 

I was absolutely dying until the adrenaline rush of picking up my diploma, we were so stressed being late, having no breakfast and kept nodding off during the ceremony 😂
