If people sort the material and the note they take into different part with logic, everything goes easily and fine. This means that clear notes with personal understanding play a great role. Summarize materials, maybe lectures and essay, then note down meaningful point just with own thoughts. Standard format is just okay. Perhaps someone says it's boring, but if you want to get logical and clear understanding, you should throw away the pattern style for a while because you don't know how much notes you need to write down. Using pattern format of note taking will make your brain full of fancy shapes and lines. After finishing notes about materials, you can change your pen into another with different color. Writing down personal understanding besides your notes last time helps you get ideas from yourself. Never care about whether the reflections are subjective or not. Those are just notes, not paragraph shown to teachers! Then once finishing, do this again if the time is enough. Notes can make you explore your mind. This leads to the result of getting closer to your own logic.
