Collaborative learning is critical to developing a set of interpersonal skills such as effective communication, negotiation, conflict resolution, decision making, leadership, personal responsibility, and teamwork.
I think the benefits of collaborative learning are:
- Development of a sense of teamwork;
- Development of new behavioral and intellectual skills;
- Substantial improvement in self-esteem;
- Improvement of communication;
- Development of the critical, logical and analytical sense;
- Improvement in interpersonal relationships;
- Practical learning, rather than theoretical memorization;
- Developing the skills of understanding and dealing with different points of view;
- Maturity and personal and professional evolution.

During group work I try to have all students, above all, respect each other. That is, to listen to the opinions of colleagues and, if they do not agree with them, to be able to argue and contribute positively with their ideas.
In addition, I always encourage colleagues who have the most difficulty both cognitively and those who are not yet very flexible to speak in public.

I tend to be heterogeneous groups, that is, groups where students do not have the same cognitive ability and ease in communicating to all. In this way, everyone is able to learn and the best and bad groups are not created.
In this way, the work done has gone well.
