         <description><![CDATA[<p>Feelings of marked fear, anxiety, or avoidance behaviour in the context of social interactions, perceived observation and performing in front of others. This anxiety is usually because of the fear of negative evaluation. Persistent, intense fear that is out of proportion to the situation causing imparing distress.</p><p><br/></p><p>Duration usually lasts 6 months or more and symptoms can't be explained by other mental or medical conditions. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Median age of onset is 13 years old. 75% of individuals with social anxiety have onset age of between 8-15. </p><p>Could occur due to stressful or humiliating event, or may develop slowly over time. </p><p>As adults age, their social anxiety becomes less intense and specific and becomes more broad and mild. </p>]]></description>
