I would describe the parenting by the children as BAD parenting. The reason why I say BAD parenting is because 1. The parents treat their children like ANGELS (Well only Veruca) 2. WHO WOULD BUY OVER 100K chocolate for 1 GOLDEN TICKET. 3. im just over about how spoiled they are.

What I think it means to make a good parent is having consequences for bad actions for example time out or taking the kids device and everything that makes them regret being bad so they can learn a lesson so they will not want to make bad actions again or something they love will be gone. So far the 2 winners have bad parents because the first person who got a golden ticket is spoiled he gets chocolate bars when ever he wants and his is very over weight his parents need to get him to normal size. The second person who got the golden ticket is very does nothing and beats up the floor for no reason and both 2 finder have very bad parents

In my opinion, good parenting is not letting your child eat lots and lots of candy and not spoiling your child for nothing. The parenting that Augustus Gloop is getting is bad. The mother might not realize it but he could get diabeties by eating all of that chocolate. Veruca Salt is really spoiled she is so spoiled that her father the owner of a peanut factory had all of his workers up day and night opening chocolate bars to find the golden ticket.

In my opinion i wouldn't like to be friends with Veruca because, it seem's like anything that i had that she liked she would try to get me to give it to her what ever it, and if i didn't give her anything, when she would get on the floor and throw a whole fit.
