hello

Hi Im McTeague, 33 year old, born and raised in California U.S.A. I am currently looking for someone to spend my life with. I am a very relaxed person and I would prefer staying at home to going out to pubs. My years of work in a mine in the past has built my body favourably and as a current dentist, I strive to stick to a very healthy lifestyle with the right diet. I live in my own house with my best buddy Cooper the canary. I am looking for a partner who is an animal lover, reserved, and most preferably someone in a health related field ready to travel around the country with me.

What a bother. I knew she wasn't the kind of lass to enjoy a holiday- let alone in Carcassonne - but golly, she was positively knackered. She looked rather out of place sprawled on the platform, clothing in a disarray, and fairly out of breath. Drained, I think she was, and nearly at her wits end. The idea of breakfast seemed to somewhat revive her and as we drove along sunny French roads, there were moments where she looked close to tranquility. What could possibly go wrong now? Cursing French, motorists perhaps or the flat front tyre. No matter.

Hi Frank,
Our holiday began when I met up with Mary at the cafe, where we had breakfast. She seemed pretty happy to be having breakfast. I could tell it had been a tough train ride. In the car we had hired, we talked about how she thinks about her holiday. She called it a 'triumph' she managed to get out of the house to go on holiday. Everything was going well, we drove down the sunny road. Observing the crazy french motorists. Until suddenly I heard a loud pop, and we realised our front tyre was completely flat. It was an absolute nightmare. Other drivers in the junction began to increase their swear words, and it was difficult to find a safe spot on the side of the road.

The large canopy was all over us, we couldn't even see the bloody stars. Everyone says this is the place to rejuvenate your life but so far everything that made a sound seemed like it wanted me dead. The forest is a place for all life to flourish, including the annoying monkeys who stole our lunch. We stumbled our way to the outskirts of the forest and decided to set up camp there. Our only sight was through our tiny LEDs strapped to our foreheads.

Shoving my way to the front of the crowds full of young desperate lads all looking for work and a new begining. I was determined to get onto the last boat to the free land. The Free land of America. Famine had ruined our land. Crops stopped growing and death was everywhere. I had to get out of here.
Once the booth operator stamped my papers and handed me my ticket. I was surrounded by the nattering of strange accents from all around Ireland. I wasn't sure what to expect when I arrived in America. What would the people be like would be welcoming or stuck up. Would they be hospitable or would they cast me out. All I had was hope.

Honestly it was quite stressful, more so than without the holiday, I wish I had stayed home with my daughter and dog. I boarded the train to France early morning only later to wait for another two hours outside Paris due to some maintenance. But that should not be even considered bad after you hear what's coming next. After meeting up with Olivia, we collected our hired car soon to discover the worse was yet to happen. Having not even driven a few miles, the front tyre had flattened, left stuck in the middle of a junction surrounded by angry French motorists.

-John

The boats had let them off, pushing the immigrants to land without warning, they had no choice. As each of them left, the man repeated in a flat voice “Australia”, and gave warning of the dangers of the land in a range of half willing half obliged tones. The deafening sounds of the motorboat towered them once again, leaving one last reminder that they are not in control, pitiable by none other than themselves. Onshore the immigrants stood out against the gritted white sand, but it didn't matter as they had been told it was a land of colour. Over the dune they struggled, weak from weeks upon weeks on the boat, ringing in their ears. Suddenly it was there. Towering against them lean black buildings stood against them. What kings they might have been in their country. But what is a king to a god?
