I talked a lot about this presentation with my colleagues and computer technicians (employed in my school) which are administering our network. So, I found many confirmations about topics covered in this presentation.

Surely, we all agreed, they will continue to manage our network, but – like my colleagues - I was also understanding the importance of this debate. Indeed, this communication between teachers and technicians could allow us to better:

·         understand and learn how a network works;

·         use and control some IT equipment;

·         appreciate the work of others professionalisms;

·         participate in the planning of new developments of infrastructure, in relation to educational needs and technical features.

Now we are understanding that this requires a shared vision and common goals, adequate time for communication, coordinated planning among teacher and technicians. Then, we are understanding the opportunity to create a shared language for our communication and our integrated professional development.
