Thomas Hobbes believed that without government that people could not live in harmony without government. John Locke said that if people can be changed, a new and better society can be created. Montesquieu brought up the idea of separation of power. All of these contributions led to the formation of the American Government.<br>3.Adam Smith believed that the government should leave the economy alone so that competition could occur freely. This helps for greater profits and lower product prices. </div>]]></description>
